Conference USA and the Mountain West Conference apparently are discussing the possibility of staging a championship game between the two conference winners. The victor, according to the scheme would be granted an automatic BCS bid:
Senator Blutarsky asks, «I keep wondering one thing: what's so fabulous about going to sixteen-team conferences?» and «If mega-conference expansion is indeed all about money, how come nobody can point to where all that new money is coming from?»
