Chris Low of ESPN interviews Todd Grantham:
What will be key for you up front defensively?
TG: We've got to develop a rotation up there, and those guys have to be relentless. DeAngelo Tyson will start out at nose, and Kwame Geathers is behind him. We also have Justin Anderson moving over from the offensive line. If those other two guys come on, it might give us a chance to move DeAngelo around and see what we can do with him at end. I just believe you have to play a lot of guys up there. You expend so much energy playing in the defensive line. If a guy feels like he has to play 60 plays, he's going to coast. But if he knows he only has to play 35, he will give you more and knows when he gets tired that he's going to come out and the next guy's going in. We've got to find a way to develop that kind of rotation. If you don't, when the fourth quarter comes around and it's time to win the game, your best guys are going to be tired.
Georgia was tied for next to last nationally last season with 12 forced turnovers. How do you turn that around?
TG: It starts with the quarterback. In pro football, we did a study, and the guy who fumbles the ball the most is the quarterback. He's also the guy throwing the ball, so the more you can do to disrupt him, the more you're going to create turnovers. You can do that a lot of ways -- disguising what you do, by bringing pressure, four-man and six-man rush, and the biggest thing is the disruption of routes. You can't allow free access. If you disrupt them and jam them, they're not always going to be in the spot they're supposed to be. There's no question that we need to create more turnovers. Again, going back to the NFL, the teams that were plus-1 in turnover margin over the last 11 years won 80 percent of their games.

Aikman prods Kiffin at PAC12 banquet:
In his two years at UCLA, Aikman recalled, one of his big frustrations was UCLA's inability to beat USC, which defeated the Bruins in 1987 and 1988, when Aikman was UCLA's starter. «I realize why we could never beat SC,» Aikman said. «We didn't steal any coaches from the NFL.»
It's unclear how Kiffin responded to the comment. He was sitting in the front row of the theater alongside the league's other head coaches. Kiffin, 35, dressed in slacks and a slightly wrinkled, red button-down, was the only head coach not wearing a jacket.
NCAA looking for snitches at Clemson:
A source close to the Clemson athletic department said that the matter was believed to be related to other investigations, with the NCAA gathering information about other programs from CU players. That makes sense, given how college players run in the same circles and know more about each other, sometimes, than their own coaches do.
Dooley refuses to release Brown:
«I have an obligation to protect the program,» said Dooley, who has released some players and declined to release others since taking over the Vols. «Bryce can still go to Kansas State but I'm not releasing him.»
Arthur Brown acknowleged his son asked Dooley via a text message sent on Tuesday night, after Bryce returned from Knoxville to Wichita, Kan. Arthur Brown said he was disappointed his son did not meet with Dooley this Monday or Tuesday, as he had instructed.
But Arthur Brown said reports that Bryce has not met with Dooley recently are inaccurate.
«Bryce met with Coach Dooley on Saturday for about 30 minutes and Dooley asked him not to tell anyone they talked,» Arthur Brown said. «I'm really not sure why.»
Dooley acknowleged he met with Brown on Saturday but said he was not asked for a release.
Here's a look at the top five teams in terms of greatest increase in average listing price over this time last year, keeping in mind the Jets are moving into a new stadium this season.
- New Orleans Saints, $404 (+264%)
- New York Jets, $378 (+137%)
- Indianapolis Colts, $264 (+130%)
- Tennessee Titans, $199 (+121%)
- Cincinnati Bengals, $205 (+121%)
The Saints and the Colts went to the Super Bowl and the Jets and the Bengals fared better than they usually do – so, on the surface, it appears like the age old winning does the trick at least in perception of value. But it's anyone's guess on what Titans fans are thinking.

Hey I like J Skeezy & Fresh, times change compare that to James Brown's Dooley's Junkyard Dog. Sometimes you have to get a little nostalgic for James annual homecoming visits. Regardless of his age and the heat he was singing and busting some moves with those splits decked in a colorful polyester suit!
