Tony Stewart (6'1». 215) linbebacker is keeping his options open (Scout.com $$$):
«I have only visited Florida and Florida State so far and I planning to visit schools like Miami, South Carolina, Georgia Tech, Georgia, and Clemson over the summer,» he said. «I am wide open to everyone right now and I am not going to rush into anything. I am just looking for the school I feel at home at and then I will decide.»
2011 prospect Frankie Williams lists UGA in top 4 (Scout.com$$$):
Williams emerged as a go-to guy at Middleton last season and also emerged as a big play guy at the same time. He averaged almost 20 yards a catch as a junior last season and scored 10 touchdowns. As one of the leading receivers in all of Tampa, Williams is an ideal slot receiver because of his size, quickness, and ability to make plays anywhere on the field. He's dangerous in the open field and will likely emerge as a legit Div 1 kid by the spring.

«Georgia, Florida State and Georgia Tech are my main schools right now. They are all the same right now, I don't have a leader from those three schools,» he said. «I am planning on making some visits to get a good feel for the schools, and if I feel comfortable, I plan to make my decision in June.»
Josh Holsey list UGA in top 4 - Video interview:
Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee are his early favorites.
UGA targets at the Tampa 7 on 7:
Brandon Fulse: Tampa Evaluation: While Fulse is still likely to end up on the defensive or offensive line when he gets to the next level, he showed over the weekend that if a school wants him to play tight end, he could do well there too.
Nick O'Leary: Tampa Evaluation: There is no question that O'Leary is one of the top overall prospects in the country. He is not the big 6-foot-6 tight end, but he is everything else.
Nick Waisome: Tampa Evaluation: There were a number of solid corners at this event, but the one that probably stood out the most when out there on an island matched up against receivers was Waisome
Matt Jones, Armwood High back has been offered by UGA. Jones is 6'3», 210 is said to be similar to 5 star James Wilder of Tampa Plant:
«It really feels good because Georgia is the first school to offer and Georgia is really a school I want to go to,» said Jones.
When asked about why he felt UGA liked him enough as a running back to offer him, he said, «I think they saw that I am a downhill guy and that I have the ability as a big guy to really move my feet and I also have power and explosiveness.»
In the video interview on Scout.com ($$$) he speaks highly of UGA. He said that he definitely did not want to go to a spread offense or change to defense or to tight end.
College football recruits are receiving offers earlier and earlier now. Keith Marshall is one such player, with him already receiving offers from Duke and North Carolina. The Bulldogs though sound like they will not be far behind according to Marshall «I've gotten verbal offers from Duke and North Carolina. Georgia also told me they'd offer as soon as they could...»
Jamie Newberg on UGA recruiting:
I think there are two things working in Georgia's favor. First, the coaching changes Mark Richt made with his staff should revitalize the Bulldogs. Perhaps things got a little stale in Athens? Second, there is just too much talent in the Peach State. Most of the elite kids want to stay home and play for the Dawgs.
